Intention Guidelines

We ask that you write a Healing Intention when booking your session, as research shows we get much better results when intentions are shared in the sessions. The Host will read your intention along with the other Healees’ intentions during your session.

Intentions are most powerful when they are clear – focused on your desired outcome combined with how you want to feel.

Get really clear on how you want to be in your new future and combine that with how you want to feel once it happens. Imagine a new world without any DIS-ease or pain. What would that look like? How would you feel?

How to write your intention

Third person

Write from the third person, including your name in the intention.

For example, instead of saying “I am healed”, say “Kim is healed”.

Present Tense

Write your intention as if it is already happening.

For example, instead of saying "Sue will be healed" or “Sue wants to heal” say "Sue is completely healed".

Specific and Clear

Be specific about the changes you desire.

Instead of "Mia feels better", say something like "Mia’s body is vibrant and full of energy".

Positive Language

Imagine a new future where DIS-ease doesn’t even exist for you. Focus on what you want to create, rather than what you don't want.

Instead of saying: “Tom doesn’t feel any pain anymore” or “Tom is cancer-free”, try “Tom feels comfortable and at ease in his body” or “Tom’s cells are healthy and happy”.

Emotional State

Describe how you would like to feel to really connect with your intention.

Instead of “Joe is healed”, say something like “Joe is healed, whole and filled with gratitude”.

Length

Please keep it to just 1 clear statement in 20 words or less – to ensure we have time to read everyone’s intentions during the session.

Adjusting your intention

We may sometimes slightly adjust your intention if it is longer than 20 words, very short or if the intention is focused on DIS-ease. We will aim at keeping the original meaning of your intention.

Below are some examples you can pull inspiration from. Please do not worry about getting your intention completely perfect – just do your best. We will help adjust your intention if needed.
